I pay full attention to each portrait created in my studio. I make sure that the work reflects the superficial resemblance as well as the character of the posing person, reflected in the gaze or the almost invisibly raised corner of the mouth. Often, only long hours spent over a piece of paper bring the desired effect.
All works I create on high-quality paper, using media from the most recognized producers. The portraits are secured with a colorless protective layer and then carefully packed, so they retain their original appearance for many years and bring joy to the next generations.
As the the portrait is finished, I will send you a preview photo for approval. When you give me a green light, and the payment from you is posted, the parcel will go to the address indicated.
Usually, I use white backgrounds. If you prefer a different color, mark it in the e-mail – we’ll try to figure it out! However, please remember that some of the available colors are not available in all paper sizes.
ATTENTION! We can arrange a combined order – first, we meet at the PHOTO SESSION, and then I draw your portrait in pencil or crayons, based on the photo you choose. In such cases, there is a SPECIAL PRICE.
Human portraits include the head and neck, possibly a fragment of the arms. However, the way animals are presented, depends on their size. It means that I can portray a whole aquarium fish or white mice, but for a dog, horse, or beloved calf, the same restrictions apply as for people.
On the right side, you can find prices for particular works. The price depends on the portrait technique, the size of the work, and the number of people/animals it presents. If you want to order a non-standard size work or one that shows the number of people or pets not included in the price list, contact me to fix individual pricing.
Before shipment, each work is carefully packed and secured against crushing. The works sent are not framed.

If you want to enjoy a portrait of a loved one or a beloved pet, sending the right photo will be crucial.
„The right photo”… What does it mean?
Take a look at the photos on the right. At the top, you can see examples of proper frames that would allow me to create portraits in pencil or crayons. These are high-resolution photos, sharp when zoomed, taken outdoors in daylight (but not in direct sunlight) or indoor but soft light (e.g. in a photo studio). A drawn portrait based on a pic taken at the height of a human’s or pet’s face looks the best. To make sure your photo is detailed enough, check the close-up for visible hairs/scales/feathers.
The two photos at the bottom are examples of inadequate shots. They were taken from a large distance, so their details are invisible. Weak, plastic light can distort the colors, for example, the color of the fur of a four-legged friend. In addition, photographs taken in motion (this applies mainly to animals) are most often fragmented or completely blurred.

If you wonder about a portrait of several characters/animals, but you don’t have a photo of them standing all together, nothing is lost. Send me separate pics, and I will try to combine them into a coherent composition.
